I know some people just cancel their phone lines and sign up for a new one when they eventually return to Singapore, but what if you’re very attached to your number that you’ve had for years (like I was) and don’t want to deal with the hassle of having to contact all your family and friends to tell them to update phone numbers? One of the things I had to figure out while making my departure preparations was what to do so that I could keep my existing phone number while on JET.
(I speak as a former headless chicken who also had a severe case of procrastination which didn’t help matters at all.
